The Grace Overflo

The Bible is God's book of grace. Through it's pages God's grace overflows to you and me to bring redemption, healing, friendship, comfort and hope. Grace is apart of who God is. God's grace is shown throughout the Bible but it is epitomized in the sacrifice of Christ.  Jesus God's only son gave up His heavenly home, His glory and His riches (2 Corinthians 8:9) and came down to earth to sacrifice His life so that we can be saved. Sin entered the world through Adam and salvation came to the world through Christ.

But God's grace is still magnified today in the lives of living men and women. Grace is a gift from God that all may receive, it is not just any gift but a gift from God that offers you salvation. (Titus 2:11) You can be saved, you can have eternal life and forgiveness of sins if you accept God's grace.

Romans 5:17
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
Grace can sometimes seem unfathomable to the human mind. But by understanding the Bible it becomes clearer what is God's grace, how far it reaches, what is it's consequences. It is a highly studied topic in Christianity that's because it is the centre of it all. God's grace says to you if you accept my gift of grace - the sacrifice of My only begotten son (John 3:16) then I will give you eternal life. God's gift of grace is freely available to all the world and if you accept it you become a child of God. Living as a child of God is a daily experience and what remains important is seeing God's word through the eyes of grace. That's what this blog attempts to do to show that God's grace is the centre of it all.

God's grace doesn't end when you accept Jesus there is more grace to be given when Jesus returns.

1 Peter 1:13
[ Be Holy ] Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.

What a glorious gift! It is the gift that doesn't stop giving. So it is important to understand grace and its impact on our everyday lives.

2 Corinthians 4:15-18

All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
